NEW! Pig Farm Location in Kent

Crossways Farm is absolute heaven for pigs. The oink-oinks are very much king pins on this location, with super enclosures and plenty of freedom to roam freely in the fields and forage under the trees.

Home to a handful of different rare breeds, a very amusing breed are the Mangalitsa –  affectionately called the “sheep pig”, they have a woolly coat too! Here’s Audrey, a heavily laden mum-to-be.

Crossways Farm offers plenty of rural backdrops of its own, not least the large rambling 16th century farmhouse which retains all its original features, and has an authentic, untouched facade at the front. The farmhouse also has Edwardian and very recent extensions, and is available for interior shoots too.

Other interesting backdrops available on the farm include an original Victorian greenhouse with elegant brick entrance, a quirky mix of pig shelters, free-range chicken, a flourishing cutting and kitchen garden, and a very friendly labrador.

As well as pig farmers, the owners are active gardeners, chicken keepers and good cooks too, offering a handy catering and facilities solution on site . And if all you need is to hire a pig for filming elsewhere, the owner is happy to transport and manage any number of pigs at another location.
