Exciting news – Sarah Moore’s farm is an all-new, all-exclusive addition to the Farm Locations mix.
Presenter of BBC1’s Money For Nothing and winner of BBC2’s Great Interior Design Challenge, Sarah Moore, perhaps unsurprisingly has made her home the most gorgeous of rural spots.
How delighted I was when Sarah got in touch to offer up her flint barns and farm in West Sussex as a new shoot location. Equally passionate in promoting Britain’s rural landscape and supporting small rural businesses, we have joined forces to present Hooksway Farm, the most idyllic farmstead for film and photo shoots.
I visited the farm this weekend, and Sarah was there to show me in and around the lovely ageing buildings and across the fields, into meadows and wild scrublands. The farmhouse too is available for shoots, or to be used as the base for a crew. Sarah has plans to refurbish and bring life back into the house, but for now, it would suit a photographer or film-maker looking for a “warts ‘n’ all” rambling house with many a story to tell.
Unique to Farm Locations are the farm’s variety of flint and timbered buildings with their pared-back transformed interiors, the walled courtyard and a huge array of rustic artefacts: together they create a visual delight for photographers and film-makers.
Not short of experience in working with shoot crews, Sarah Moore’s farm is an ideal shoot location with a full range of backdrops, plenty of space for crew facilities and a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. More details on Hooksway Farm can be found here.
