Chestnut Farm is a 700-acre mixed farm set against the backdrop of the Chiltern Hills. With large arable fields and grazing land for sheep and Wagyu cattle, as well as a traditional farmyard of historic buildings, it offers a versatile rural setting with both scale and character.

The farmyard is the standout feature: an historic courtyard of varied agricultural buildings, including brick, timber-clad, and tiled structures, alongside more open barns. With its characterful mix and traditional feel, the space is easily adaptable and provides a characterful rural backdrop for filming and photography.

FACILITIES AT THE LOCATION

Parking is available on site with straightforward access for crew vehicles. A warm, dry base can be provided within the farmhouse, including access to the kitchen, toilet, and dining area.

Local catering is well supported by delivery services, with a wide range of takeaways available in the area.

There is no on-site accommodation, but plenty of nearby options are available, including hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering cottages within a short drive.

GETTING TO CHESTNUT FARM

By public transport, the nearest mainline stations are Luton Parkway and Milton Keynes, both with frequent connections from London. Slower train routes also stop closer at Cheddington and Leighton Buzzard stations, with onward travel by taxi or bus.

By car, the farm is less than an hour away from Central London and approximately 30 minutes from Bovingdon Airfield and 45 minutes from Elstree Studios.
