Dee Estate, LL21

Set on the banks of the River Dee in North Wales, Dee Estate spans 2,400 acres of dramatic and varied landscape. From open heather moorland and rolling parkland to ancient woodland and riverside views, the estate offers a range of natural shoot backdrops. It’s cinematic, secluded, and unmistakably Welsh.

At the centre of the estate stands a striking Gothic-style country house, built in 1380 and rich in character, from its intricate windows and historic church glass to a 60-foot underground tunnel. Surrounding it are a collection of stone and traditional buildings, including cottages and houses, offering a variety of interiors and exteriors across the estate.

The setting is rich with contrast: moors that stretch towards the Berwyn mountain range, woodland tracks and clearings, and the wide River Dee itself, with both banks in private ownership. Dee Estate delivers scale, texture, and variety perfect for filming and photoshoots.
