Eden Estate, LE16

Eden Estate is a 1,000-acre rural estate made up of rolling farmland, steep valleys, woodland and historic buildings. The estate offers a broad mix of landscapes and striking architecture within one connected setting, with good access throughout via private roads, tracks and farm infrastructure.

Eden Estate features a largely untouched redbrick courtyard, providing an atmospheric and authentic period backdrop. The other main buildings include the Elizabethan Stone House and Victorian Manor House, both available for interior and exterior filming. Original interiors throughout the properties include traditional rooms, fireplaces and period detailing, with the historic 19th-century billiard room, the sole surviving part of the original house following a fire in the 1930s, forming part of the estate’s character-rich interiors.

One of the standout features is a ruined stone chapel beside the lake, surrounded by open fields and mature trees. The estate also includes a Victorian clock tower within the farmyard, multiple cottages and a small historic hamlet in the valley, which has remained largely unchanged over time.

The landscape is varied, with open grassland, arable fields, orchards and several areas of woodland. Ancient woods with tracks and clearings sit alongside younger plantations, including bluebell and snowdrop woods.
