Botanical Hall, TN15

Botanical Hall is a historic country house with outbuildings, beautiful gardens, woodland and fields. The gardens range from formal areas to more natural spaces, including a walled garden, terraces, fountains, woodland paths, a rose walk and an Edwardian rock garden. The walled garden contains grass terraces, water features and a rustic hut structure made from old hop poles. Informal, more extensive areas include woodland, wild areas, rhododendrons, ferns and bluebells. There are also remnants of Victorian glasshouses and outbuildings, now partly collapsed and overgrown, offering a more weathered and atmospheric setting.

The striking Queen Anne house retains its period interiors, and traditional farm buildings extend on to  open fields, giving productions a convenient mix of country, farm, garden and wilder settings.
