Squirrels Nest Farm, LL16

Squirrels Nest Farm is a picturesque working sheep farm in the Clwydian Hills of North Wales, with a further large parcel of land stretching towards the summit of Moel Arthur. The landscape includes open grazing hills, rolling grassland, valleys and far-reaching views, with sheep grazing across the slopes. In spring, the fields are alive with bluebells and primroses, while the surrounding countryside offers a mix of wildflower areas and natural habitats.

The Regency farmhouse sits beside an ancient courtyard and traditional farmyard, and boasts a lovely established garden with all-year round interest. The house and buildings are unmodernised and double for many eras,  with original period detail retained, and plenty of charm to film in.

Woodland is scattered across the farm, including a bluebell wood with mature trees, bracken and fallen timber. There are also two small ponds and a small stream running through the land. A particularly secluded setting is provided by a converted shepherd’s hut, tucked away from the main farm and available for both interiors and exteriors.
