Bower Estate, TF11

Bower Estate boasts parkland, farmland, woodland and water, with a substantial country house at the end of a long, unspoilt drive.

The main house is available for interiors, exteriors and full takeovers, with the owners able to vacate during filming. The grounds include a clock tower, stables, a coach house and a walled garden with a Victorian greenhouse. A vacant shoot lodge and gardener’s cottage offer additional residential settings, while several farmhouses, traditional barns and two derelict houses provide a contrast to the more formal estate architecture.

The approach to the main house stretches for one to two miles through woodland and open parkland, passing the water along the way. Several alternative drives offer different views across the estate, with a mix of open fields, flower-filled meadows in season, formal gardens and more secluded natural areas.

Around 400 acres of ancient woodland offer wide tracks, clearings and a couple of small wooden cabins tucked among the trees. There is also a large lake, alongside further water features across the estate. A wooden hut sits beside the main lake, while extensive grassland, old horse paddocks and working farm areas add further variety across the shoot location.
