Eggshell Farm’s convenient location off the M25 coupled with its 300 free range chickens makes it an ideal site to capture an everyday working farm setting. The farm’s large open fields of crops and wild flower expanses provide a varied landscape with easy accessibility for crews. Alongside a wide choice of farm buildings from a traditional farmhouse, smaller brick outbuildings to large industrial warehouses Eggshell Farm is well set for a broad range of shoot options.

  • 225 acres of open landscape including grass fields, wild flower meadows and a mix of crop fields growing Wheat and Barley
  • 50 acres of Maize (corn) on the farm every year
  • A working farmyard offering a mix of derelict buildings alongside more modern agricultural and industrial areas including large grain stores
  • A period farmhouse is available for exterior and interior shoots with a traditional farmhouse kitchen

FACILITIES AT THE FARM

There is a large hardcore area and several concrete base options for numerous sized vehicles.

There are several large grain stores available for use as indoor crew bases.

The farm has its own on-site coffee vending machine and all major delivery services are available including Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat etc. There is also a local pub in walking distance from the farm.

Space for self set up crew accommodation can be arranged by prior agreement. There is also a large Airbnb in the village which sleeps 31 guests and is 0.5 miles away.

St Albans is only 10 minutes drive and has numerous restaurant and hotel options.

GETTING TO EGGSHELL FARM

Fast trains run from London St Pancras to St Albans city station. Eggshell Farm is then approximately 6 minutes by taxi from the station.

Elstree, Warner Bros and Pinewood Studios are all within a 30 minute drive.

Central London is approximately 1hr and 15 minutes away by car.
