Embers Estate, BN27

Embers Estate is a historic moated castle and grounds, surrounded by farmland, parkland and woodland. Dating back to the 15th century, the castle is considered to be one of the oldest significant red brick buildings still standing in England.

The castle offers a distinctive mix of medieval architecture, Elizabethan detailing and Art Deco interiors. Available spaces include the ballroom, chapel, cloister and pub, alongside a variety of rooms and historic architectural features.

Beyond the castle, manicured lawns and formal gardens give way to open parkland, farmland and ancient, established woodland. Wide tracks run through the trees, while the moat provides a striking setting around the castle. Private tarmac roads, farm tracks, an isolated folly and more natural areas offer further variety across the estate.
