Flaxen Farm, OX29

Flaxen Farm is a classic small Cotswold farm combining timeless stone architecture with authentic agricultural settings.

In the farmyard, there is a Grade II listed stone barn dating back to 1804, featuring traditional oak beams, cobbled stone flooring, a loft reached by stone steps, and an original corn-crushing machine, a beautifully preserved piece of rural heritage. The main farmhouse offers both interiors and exteriors, with a beamed lounge and dining rooms, stone fireplaces, a limestone-floored kitchen, and a wisteria-covered frontage. The property also includes an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub.

The courtyard is a particularly photogenic feature, framed by the main farmhouse, a converted coach house, and a newer family home, all in keeping with the original architecture. Around the farm are a mix of traditional stone and timber outbuildings, a six-bay steel-framed agricultural barn, and a series of stables overlooking grassland and orchard. Two arched timber glamping pods add a modern rustic touch, while the small orchard and boundary woodland create a private, self-contained environment ideal for productions.
