Hitch Farm is a glorious unspoilt farm location, within easy reach of London and just 35 minutes to Leavesden. Available for interiors and exteriors for film and photo shoots, the ancient country manor house at Hitch Farm provides a variety of backdrops – from the the smarter, rarely used side of the house, to the more lived in country farmhouse vibe. The cellar, complete with it’s own jail, offers a further spooky setting.

The farm is reached by a half a mile of private drive and further private roads and hardstanding tracks are available for hire across the location.

A variety of farm buildings, including an 18th century large black barn with huge curved beams and old milling machinery still intact, ancient stables and a Dutch barn, plus modern agricultural / industrial buildings within the working farmyard.

Unlimited parking on plenty of hard standing areas and in the fields. A farm building is set up with seating, loo, urn and microwave, or a farm house is also available if necessary.

Some catering can be provided by the owner. Other outlets and overnight accommodation are within 2 miles’ drive.

Getting to the Farm

By rail, take the train to Hitchin or Luton, then the farm is just a 10 minute taxi ride from here.

By car, the farm is 1 hour 15 minutes from West London.

Several film studios are within an hour’s drive, including just 35 minutes to Leavesden / Warner Bros Studios.
