An entirely secluded location, yet conveniently located to London and the studios, Pine Grange is a controllable, private space, complete with unoccupied country house, cottage, and outbuildings, extending to large gardens, grounds and 50 acres of pine forest.

A charming gatehouse greets visitors at the entrance, then follows a drive through trees that opens on to a substantial 1890 Victorian country house, courtyard and coach house. The big house is largely unmodernised and empty, offering productions a flexible period backdrop that can be dressed and adapted to suit different briefs. Interiors include a traditional Victorian kitchen with Aga, scullery, formal drawing and dining rooms, panelled rooms, original oak staircases, open fireplaces, an attic and atmospheric cellars.

The Victorian coach house offers primitive living quarters and old traditional features, alongside the adjoining courtyard, whilst the gate house offers the cottage charm on location Behind the buildings, a large established garden with walled garden area, pond and structures, flows naturally into the parkland and grass fields, which are enveloped by ancient woodland and pine trees. A simple timber cabin is tucked away too. The pine forest is impressive, with very tall evergreens throughout, tracks and clearings, and various access points. The grass field offers a larger, undulating clearing aspect, with the backdrop of pines behind it.

With its empty interiors, period architecture and range of houses, buildings and landscapes, Pine Grange is an excellent film-friendly location, offering productions plenty of flexibility and practicality within a single private location.

FACILITIES AT THE LOCATION

The main house provides a substantial crew base with kitchens, toilets and multiple rooms for wardrobe, catering and production use. Three-phase electricity is available, with additional space in the Coach House and yard.

There is hardstanding and grass parking for larger productions, with plenty of space for production vehicles. Overnight accommodation may be possible in the house, with up to 10 bedrooms available, currently unfurnished. Local hotels and catering options are also available within a short drive.

GETTING TO PINE GRANGE

Pine Grange is within 30 miles of several studios, including Farnborough, Longcross and Black Hangar Studios.

By train, it is less than an hour from Waterloo, followed by a 5-minute drive.
