Sentinel Manor Farm, SN8
Sentinel Manor Farm spans 700 acres of organic grassland, offering a dramatic and visually different landscape with wildflower meadows and open fields that stretch across valleys and downland, with no visible modern intrusions. The farm is home to 200 cattle, a small flock of rare-breed sheep, and two horses, giving productions the authentic feel of a working farm.
At its heart sits a 1795 Georgian Manor House, complete with a stone-walled garden, offering a classic, historical backdrop. Scattered across the farm are several woodland areas with natural clearings and magical areas (including large moss-covered rocks), a campsite with a cabin, and old stables and farm buildings. The 14-foot high neolithic-style sculpture in one of the main fields, fondly called the Sentinel, provides an interesting focal point.
With its combination of historic architecture, diverse landscapes and props, the farm offers opportunity for film, TV, and photography. Whether you’re after wide-open vistas, derelict buildings or a grand manor house, Sentinel Manor Farm provides a wide range of backdrops in one location.
