Waterside Reserve, ME12

Extending to the estuary’s shoreline, Waterside Reserve offers direct access to a remote, yet accessible, landscape of wetland marshes, wild meadows and grassland, rich in wildlife, running right along the riverbank.

From a coastal wilderness to manicured gardens and vegetable plots, Waterside Reserve also offers a hub of exceptional amenities, including a charming 16th century renovated Inn, restored coach house and oak-beamed events barn.

Neighbouring the reserve, and only a short walk across the open fields, you can also find a collection of country cottages, converted barns and the former farmhouse; all are under the same ownership and offer further shoot and stay options for this shoot location.

FACILITIES ON LOCATION

There is plenty of parking for crew vehicles; with a large car park and overflow areas onsite. A warm, dry crew base with toilet facilities can be made available on location, with access to the Powder room and / or meeting room if required.

Waterside Reserve can offer a ‘Shoot and Stay’ option with its 11x B&B rooms directly onsite and further accommodation options only a 2 minute drive from the reserve with its own 5x self-catering cottages and barns accommodating 47 persons.

With a 2AA Rosette restaurant at the reserve, onsite catering can easily be provided; offering either a sit down meal in the restaurant, or a buffet style option if preferred. Catering can also be provided in the same way to those shooting at the nearby holiday cottages. Tea and coffee facilities, along with mid morning and afternoon snacks can be arranged upon prior request.

GETTING TO WATERSIDE RESERVE

Trains run from London to Sittingbourne station (journey time of approximately 1 hour 15 mins). Waterside Reserve is approximately a 30 minutes drive from Sittingbourne station.

Central London is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car.
