Whistle Bough Farm, PL20
Whistle Bough Farm is a glorious ancient Devon farmstead, set deep on the moors, spanning 200 acres of classic Dartmoor countryside. With sweeping hills, flower-filled meadows, and marshy ground leading to river valleys and granite tors on the horizon, this is a landscape full of natural drama and timeless English character.
At its heart lies a historic house and 15th-century granite longhouse, now a working barn, surrounded by traditional farm buildings, a semi-derelict stone barn. There’s even a riverside fisherman’s hut. The setting feels remote and untouched, with wide, drivable farm tracks, hedged fields, ancient woodland, and original granite features that offer cinematic depth and variety.
Ideal for filming, TV and photo shoots, Whistle Bough Farm delivers a superb blend of authenticity, beauty and scale.
