Some sites also include mixed styles, blending Jacobean, Tudor, and later elements, giving productions a wide range of authentic backdrops.

Mansion House at Chalk Farm Estate
At the heart of Chalk Farm Estate stands the mansion house, dating back to the early 1600s. The imposing home is surrounded by formal gardens, sweeping drives and delightful outbuildings, with additional houses, cottages and farmyards peppered across the estate. The owners are open to offering the property as a shoot location, as well as accommodation if needed. Location also offers an original squash court, orangery and informal kitchen garden, giving productions a variety of settings within a single estate.
Country Manor House at Hitch Farm
Hitch Farm is a country manor house with a mix of smarter, rarely used rooms and lived-in farmhouse spaces, giving flexible filming options. The property includes original features such as a cellar with its own jail, adding a unique and slightly eerie setting. The estate is reached via half a mile of private drive, providing privacy and convenience for production crews and is surrounded by over 500 acres of arable land, woodland and and grassy fields spread over rolling hills and flat and expansive landscapes.
Jacobean & Tudor Farmhouse at Place Farm
Place Farm features a large period farmhouse blending Jacobean and Tudor elements, set within ornate English gardens including walled areas, a kitchen garden and an ornamental pond. The interiors combine historic charm with modern, practical filming spaces, offering plenty of potential for filming and photoshoots.
