Ivykeep Estate, DN21

Ivykeep Estate is a characterful 75-acre working farm centred around a historic castle and surrounded by classic English farmland, woodland and water. The setting offers a rich mix of formal parkland, arable fields and quieter, more atmospheric corners, all within a compact and easily managed location.

The castle is a substantial late-17th-century house set behind a long, tree-lined drive and enclosed by parkland and a ha-ha wall. The castle offers impressive scale while remaining private and secluded. Nearby are stables, old stone barns and a varied farmyard that blends historic agricultural buildings with more modern structures.

Beyond the castle grounds, the landscape opens out into arable fields, grassland and fallow land, alongside an ancient woodland with clearings and tracks, a Christmas tree plantation, and a wildlife-rich lake complete with a bridge and an abandoned boathouse. There are also a number of derelict structures across the estate, including an empty gatehouse and a ruined house, providing varied backdrops for atmospheric scenes.

With its combination of historic backdrops, parkland, working farm buildings, woodland, water and abandoned structures, Ivykeep Estate offers a wide range of visual options for filming and photoshoots within one location.
