Farmhouse at Anchor Lands
Anchor Lands features a 1970s farmhouse built using recycled materials, including Victorian pine salvaged from grand London homes and Rye’s old sea walls. The weather-boarded house sits right on the edge of the River Rother, offering a unique riverside setting with characterful interiors and practical filming spaces.
The estate’s eclectic design extends to the surrounding landscape, scattered with vintage finds and quirky props that are all available for shoots. Solace Farm offers a variety of handbuilt, eco-friendly glamping options, including yurts, shepherd huts, and wooden cabins, many with outside baths and showers. Set within a peaceful rural estate, these spaces provide flexible interiors and exteriors for filming, TV, and photography.

At the heart of Draft Horse Farm lies a secluded farmyard nestled among the trees, with low-profile timber-clad eco-build cabins and stables that blend naturally into the surroundings.
