Take a look at our newest locations, from a former rectory with gardens to a working estate in Hampshire and an empty farmhouse in Cumbria.
Deer Crossing Farm, SY17
Deer Crossing Farm is set within the ancient Cambrian Mountains, and surrounded by sweeping hills, ancient woodland, valleys and far-reaching views. The unspoilt landscape combines ancient oak woodland, grazing fields, orchards and meandering river sections.
At the heart of the estate sits a beautifully restored retreat complex arranged around historic buildings beside the river. The setting includes a 1760 stone mill house with its original grinding cogs, an oak-framed hay barn with expansive glass overlooking the meadow, and a series of charming brick piggeries and stone structures.
Private lanes, wide farm tracks and small bridges connect the different landscapes, while the gently winding river offers safe shallow sections suitable for water shoots.
Union Farm, LE12
Union Farm is a design-led rural location centred around a restored red-brick farmhouse and a collection of stylish converted farm buildings at the end of a long, tree-lined gravel drive. Originally a neglected farm yard, the site has been transformed into a stylish retreat while retaining its rustic agricultural heritage.
Union Farm’s landscape is mainly open grassland divided into horse fields, with a small spinney running along the ridge of the farm that provides a natural setting and elevated views back across the land.
Around the yard sits a range of unusual features, including two converted grain silos, one with a private cinema, alongside converted barns and modern timber-clad buildings.
Broadleaf Farm, LU7
Broadleaf Farm is a modern farm set in rolling countryside with steep gradients and exceptional 360° views from the hilltops. Predominantly grassland, the farm includes ponds, hardstanding tracks, and extensive contemporary agricultural infrastructure. With its expansive layout, large unit buildings and elevated vistas, the location offers flexibility, scale, and privacy for larger productions.
All farm buildings have been constructed since 2008 and are high-quality, insulated industrial-spec structures, complemented by timber hen sheds.
The residential offering includes a high-spec mobile home and a converted barn offering an architectural style in keeping with the surrounding industrial structures. The striking 426 sq metre contemporary conversion offers bright, airy spaces with modern furnishings, ideal for productions seeking an unusual or architecturally distinctive twist.
Potterdown Farm, TA24
Potterdown Farm is a working farm set deep within a steep-sided valley in the heart of Exmoor National Park. Wild, secluded and incredibly atmospheric, the landscape feels like a ready-made film set. The approach itself is stunning, crossing a small bridge and descending into the combe where the 16th-century Somerset longhouse sits nestled at the valley floor, with the River Exe running through the bottom of the farm.
The Grade II listed longhouse features flagstone floors, large fireplaces, exposed oak beams, latch doors and low ceilings, retaining its historic character throughout. The old stone farmyard sits beside the house, while a more modern working yard and barns lie approximately 100 yards beyond, offering additional practical space.
Standstill Farm, SG9
Standstill Farm is a redundant farm offering a blank canvas for productions to base, create and hire for long periods, all on secluded, private, controllable land. It features a large farmyard with hard standing, extending out to flat open fields.
The farmhouse is a striking yellow property with cosy interiors and boasts uninterrupted views. A 400-year-old oak barn, old farmyards, derelict buildings, and modern agricultural structures provide a variety of rustic and practical backdrops for film, TV and photoshoots.
The location can also offer classic and modern vehicles, including Porsches, Mustangs, Land Rovers, and tractors for hire.
Larkspur Farm, SO32
Larkspur Farm is a fresh, stylish rural location, centred around the contemporary conversion and modernisation of a farmhouse and its farm buildings. Elegant modern interiors, rustic details, outdoor living spaces and tranquil water features make it particularly well-suited to fashion, lifestyle, and editorial shoots. A swimming pool and wildlife pond offer two contrasting backdrops while the small, self-contained layout allows productions to work efficiently within a beautifully curated environment.
Three Mere Farm, TN22
Three Mere Farm is a near-400 acre rural location combining lakes, woodland, pasture and parkland with a distinctive blend of historic and modern farm architecture
The Tudor-style main house, built in the 1920s–30s with ornate period detailing, offers spacious interiors and exteriors suited to filming. There is also a 17th–18th-century barn, Victorian greenhouse and a mix of cottages and modern agricultural buildings.
Three large lakes, with interesting shapes and details including a cascading waterfall and jetty, sit among grass fields, and ancient woodland offers clearings and vehicle tracks.
A treehouse overlooking one of the lakes and extensive private roads further expand the range of backdrops, making Three Mere Farm adaptable for productions seeking water, woodland, period settings and practical unit space in one location.
Hounds Tongue Estate, GU10
Hounds Tongue Estate is set within historic parkland, open chalk downland, grassland, heathland and more than 1,000 acres of ancient woodland. With far-reaching views, several lakes and an extensive network of private estate roads, free from visible power lines or public footpaths, the landscape’s natural beauty is at the forefront of the landowner’s vision for creating diverse and rich habitats.
The estate features a striking principal house, Victorian farm buildings arranged around a courtyard, traditional cottages, and many other historic details; they include an Edwardian fishing hut on a lakeside jetty, wartime pillboxes, hop gardens and secluded woodland shelters.
The estate sits around 15 minutes south of Junction 10 of the M25, placing it within easy reach of London and the wider South East production network.
Glebe Farm, OX9
The heart of Glebe Farm is a former rectory, set within glebeland and parkland, itself combining period architecture with well-kept gardens and pastures.
The 19th-century rectory is surrounded by formal gardens, a vegetable patch, a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool. The adjoining stable courtyard with 18th-century stables and a coach house retain many original fittings, whilst a smaller, derelict farmyard area offers some contrast.
The landscape is largely grassland, surrounded by mature woodland, with a lake set within one of the fields, extending to gentle hills and far-reaching views.
The estate also includes a working equestrian yard, private tarmac lanes, making Glebe Farm a compact, varied setting offering a mix of refined, historic, and natural rural backdrops within easy reach of London.
