Take a look at our newest locations available nationwide, from a former rectory with gardens to a working estate in Hampshire and an empty farmhouse in Cumbria.
Hazelwood Estate, GU29
Hazelwood Estate is an exceptional 16,000-acre location. From rolling hills to 6000 acres of ancient woodland, rivers, lakes and formal gardens, the estate provides an unparalleled range of backdrops. With miles of private roads, multiple access points and a long history of hosting productions, it’s a location that can comfortably handle all kinds of productions.
A large chalk quarry offers a striking and unusual backdrop, while rivers, ponds and lakes add further visual interest. Private bridges and long stretches of tarmac and track weave across the estate, connecting its many distinct environments.
The architecture ranges from a grand 22-bedroom main house to a wide selection of vacant cottages, farmhouses and institutional buildings available as blank canvases. These include a Tudor mansion ruin, a derelict limeworks covered in graffiti, a former priory, a disused grammar school, and traditional farmyards with barns and stables. The estate also includes a golf course, a farm shop and an active polo club with multiple pitches.
Briar Farm, GL7
Briar Farm is a 500-acre working organic farm set within rolling Cotswold countryside, combining historic buildings with carefully managed natural landscapes. Wildflower meadows, pastureland and water meadows flourish alongside grazing livestock. Formal gardens, orchards and a productive kitchen garden add to the varied but cohesive rural setting found here.
The buildings date back to the 18th century, including a traditional farmhouse, stone barns and a courtyard that’s full of character, and the wide range of farm animals including sheep, cattle, horses, chicken and ducks complete the charm of a Cotswolds farm setting. A converted grain store and milling barn now operates as a large event space, while additional cottages, farm buildings and glamping elements provide additional aesthetic. The overall feel is classic Cotswolds, natural, well-kept and full of texture.
Whisper Estate, EX24
Whisper Estate is set within a quiet slice of rolling Devon countryside, offering a wonderful mix of farm life, faded grandeur, the natural, wild and quirky.
From open grass fields and parkland to dense woodland, marshy ground and dramatic ravines, Whisper Estate is varied, secluded and full of atmosphere. The estate’s ancient valleys create striking, enclosed contours, while higher ground opens out into far-reaching views that can feel mountain-like.
At the centre of the estate sits a Georgian country house with traditional interiors. Around the estate, a mix of buildings ranges from a traditional mixed-era farmyard with timber barns, to more characterful elements, including partially derelict stone linney, log cabins in the woods and by the water, a static caravan set within the forest.
With both polished and weathered backdrops across a relatively compact but highly varied estate, Whisper Estate offers plenty of potential for all kinds of productions.
Hermitage Farm, RH5
Hermitage Farm is a hidden off-grid location with two isolated dwellings set within woodland and fields. Tucked away behind a gated entrance and approached via a tree-lined track, the site boasts an undiscovered timbered cabin in the woods, as well as a two-bedroom cottage completely on its own in the field.
Designed by architect Renate Prince, the cottage has a distinctive modernist style and sits empty. Deeper in the woods, the lived-in cabin provides a more rugged, characterful contrast, with interiors full of props and a truly off-grid feel. Together, they offer a mix of stylised architecture and raw, natural setting, ideal for productions seeking a place that’s a world away from civilisation.
Liberty Farm, HP16
Full of sweet charm and reminiscent of the iconic cottage from The Holiday, Liberty Farm’s cottage is complete with its own white picket fence and English cottage garden. Recently renovated, the owners have sensitively preserved original features and historic character within its interiors. The land wraps around the house, creating a sense of privacy and seclusion, with fabulous angles looking down onto the isolated cottage.
The wider farmland includes horse paddocks, open parkland, and gently rolling fields with far-reaching views from the higher ground down into the valley.
Deer Crossing Farm, SY17
Deer Crossing Farm is set within the ancient Cambrian Mountains, and surrounded by sweeping hills, ancient woodland, valleys and far-reaching views. The unspoilt landscape combines ancient oak woodland, grazing fields, orchards and meandering river sections.
At the heart of the estate sits a beautifully restored retreat complex arranged around historic buildings beside the river. The setting includes a 1760 stone mill house with its original grinding cogs, an oak-framed hay barn with expansive glass overlooking the meadow, and a series of charming brick piggeries and stone structures.
Private lanes, wide farm tracks and small bridges connect the different landscapes, while the gently winding river offers safe shallow sections suitable for water shoots.
Union Farm, LE12
Union Farm is a design-led rural location centred around a restored red-brick farmhouse and a collection of stylish converted farm buildings at the end of a long, tree-lined gravel drive. Originally a neglected farm yard, the site has been transformed into a stylish retreat while retaining its rustic agricultural heritage.
Union Farm’s landscape is mainly open grassland divided into horse fields, with a small spinney running along the ridge of the farm that provides a natural setting and elevated views back across the land.
Around the yard sits a range of unusual features, including two converted grain silos, one with a private cinema, alongside converted barns and modern timber-clad buildings.
Broadleaf Farm, LU7
Broadleaf Farm is a modern farm set in rolling countryside with steep gradients and exceptional 360° views from the hilltops. Predominantly grassland, the farm includes ponds, hardstanding tracks, and extensive contemporary agricultural infrastructure. With its expansive layout, large unit buildings and elevated vistas, the location offers flexibility, scale, and privacy for larger productions.
All farm buildings have been constructed since 2008 and are high-quality, insulated industrial-spec structures, complemented by timber hen sheds.
The residential offering includes a high-spec mobile home and a converted barn offering an architectural style in keeping with the surrounding industrial structures. The striking 426 sq metre contemporary conversion offers bright, airy spaces with modern furnishings, ideal for productions seeking an unusual or architecturally distinctive twist.
Potterdown Farm, TA24
Potterdown Farm is a working farm set deep within a steep-sided valley in the heart of Exmoor National Park. Wild, secluded and incredibly atmospheric, the landscape feels like a ready-made film set. The approach itself is stunning, crossing a small bridge and descending into the combe where the 16th-century Somerset longhouse sits nestled at the valley floor, with the River Exe running through the bottom of the farm.
The Grade II listed longhouse features flagstone floors, large fireplaces, exposed oak beams, latch doors and low ceilings, retaining its historic character throughout. The old stone farmyard sits beside the house, while a more modern working yard and barns lie approximately 100 yards beyond, offering additional practical space.
Standstill Farm, SG9
Standstill Farm is a redundant farm offering a blank canvas for productions to base, create and hire for long periods, all on secluded, private, controllable land. It features a large farmyard with hard standing, extending out to flat open fields.
The farmhouse is a striking yellow property with cosy interiors and boasts uninterrupted views. A 400-year-old oak barn, old farmyards, derelict buildings, and modern agricultural structures provide a variety of rustic and practical backdrops for film, TV and photoshoots.
The location can also offer classic and modern vehicles, including Porsches, Mustangs, Land Rovers, and tractors for hire.
Larkspur Farm, SO32
Larkspur Farm is a fresh, stylish rural location, centred around the contemporary conversion and modernisation of a farmhouse and its farm buildings. Elegant modern interiors, rustic details, outdoor living spaces and tranquil water features make it particularly well-suited to fashion, lifestyle, and editorial shoots. A swimming pool and wildlife pond offer two contrasting backdrops while the small, self-contained layout allows productions to work efficiently within a beautifully curated environment.
