The house features oak window frames and doors, along with panelling in the hall, giving it a warm, handcrafted character. Set within gardens and surrounded by a variety of traditional buildings, it offers a range of versatile backdrops for filming, photography, and lifestyle shoots.
Arts & Crafts cottage at Ten Acre Woods
Ten Acre Woods offers a secluded Arts & Crafts-style cottage set within 10 acres of woodland in Somerset, available for both interior and exterior shoots. Winding woodland tracks lead to a clearing at the front of the house, perfect for parking, turning, or staging, while the surrounding forest provides natural, atmospheric backdrops. The Arts & Crafts property also features a double garage, garden sheds, and period props, adding character and versatility to productions.
Filming at Ten Acre Woods
A secluded Arts & Crafts-style cottage at Ten Acre Woods, provided the perfect backdrop for the BBC1 comedy series Can You Keep a Secret. The location offered the isolation and charm needed for Debbie and William’s home, while remaining accessible for production crews.
Filming took place from February to April 2025, with the Arts & Crafts cottage and surrounding grounds fully taken over for several weeks. The owners, Nathan and Peggy, embraced the experience, even joining in as extras, while the production team transformed the house for the show.
