WWII & Military Heritage
Soldier Lands is a former military site offering a unique WWII-era setting with a strong sense of history and authenticity. Original WWII towers, a gatehouse, pillboxes, and former barracks form the core of the location, providing instantly recognisable wartime backdrops. The secure compound also features workshops, a container park, and a command centre, while the wider site stretches across 200 acres of marshes, grassland, woodland, and forest, giving productions flexibility for both intimate and large-scale scenes.
The site also houses an extensive collection of vehicles and machinery, including tanks, jeeps, lorries, and military trucks, alongside natural features such as streams, ponds, and open scrubland, making Soldier Lands ideal for WWII dramas, military shoots, and productions requiring rugged, historic landscapes.
WWII Bunkers & Magazine Houses Ruins
Grainshore Farm is a historic WWII site, featuring bunker ruins and magazine houses along the riverbanks. The exposed wartime structures, surrounded by marshes, water, and open skies, create a raw, atmospheric backdrop with a strong sense of military history. Its combination of natural and man-made features provides scale and isolation that productions often seek.
World War II blister hangar
Runaway Farm offers a range of wartime features, including a WWII blister hangar, pillbox, and light aircraft runway, set within a rural landscape just 30 minutes from Central London. The site combines military heritage with easy accessibility, making it an ideal location for productions needing authentic WWII backdrops close to the capital.
On the cliff edge
Perched on a dramatic cliff edge in Ireland, Dune Cliff Farm features an original WWII lookout post with sweeping views of the sea. The exposed coastal setting and historic structure create a striking backdrop ideal for wartime filming, photography, or period productions.
