2025 Wrapped: Highlights, Memories, and Milestones
As 2025 comes to a close, it’s a good moment to look back on our 10th year of Farm Locations – it’s absolutely been a full, rewarding year with a few records broken, plenty of new ground broken too, all shaped and supported by a brilliant community of people we work with.
2025 IN NUMBERS:
200+ handpicked locations nationwide, from Scotland to Devon
33 counties covered
50+ new locations
Nearly 40% more hires than in 2024
Team growth: from 3 to 5 team members (reaching 7 in the Summer)
30% of our locations hosted a shoot this year
Over 50% of our locations have been personally visited by us, bolstered by many virtual recces this year too
Our internal location network has continued to grow beyond live listings
Our community of willing farm owners hosted all kinds of productions, from set builds and student films to music videos, TV dramas, feature films, Vogue covers, and so much more. Owners and clients navigated muddy fields, changing weather, and the many moving parts involved in filming in the countryside. From small crews (as few as 2) to the biggest productions (over 150 crew members) and from lightning-fast 24-hour turnarounds to multi-month hires, 2025 showed just how much creativity, flexibility, and teamwork go into every production made.
THANK YOU!
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to keep championing rural Britain, bridging the gap between the farming and film industry, and easing the burden placed on farmers, location managers and producers. Every new farm gate opened and every creative brief solved has been a reminder of what makes our work so rewarding.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make 2025 such an incredible year. To all the farmers, landowners, and smallholders, your rural locations and willingness to share your farms more widely are what keep our wheels turning. And to our clients, location scouts, producers, photographers, filmmakers, and the wider creative industry, thank you for choosing these locations, for every brief sent our way and every creative challenge we’ve taken on.
The team will be enjoying a little downtime over Christmas, but the farm gates are open either side of the bank holidays and weekends if you need us, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has to offer. And in the meantime, enjoy all that Christmas brings.
Very best of festive wishes from us all,
Jo, Gemma, Carolyn & Marta
