Congratulations Kent Film Office for 20 Years of Service

From left to right: Liz, Gabrielle, Jo and Abi

Last month, I had the pleasure of joining industry friends in Kent to celebrate the Kent Film Office’s 20th anniversary — a moment that I could not miss. Gabrielle Lindemann of the KFO is the reason Farm Locations got going, she gave me the confidence to follow my ambition in building a locations agency dedicated to farms. She came to visit my family farms over ten years ago, believed in my resilience, and since then, along with Liz and Abi in the team, has continued to support us, listing the 45+ Kent locations we now represent and sending enquiries our way.

The Kent Film Office has done so much for the county over the past two decades. They’ve attracted high-profile film and television productions, generating over £85 million in investment and supporting local businesses, crew, caterers, and hotels. They do it with professionalism and care, making sure filming is managed properly and that communities and landowners feel respected.

For Farm Locations, the encouragement and trust from Gabrielle and the KFO team have played a quiet but vital role in our growth. Their behind-the-scenes presence makes us all feel more confident in running smooth productions in the county.

To celebrate their 20 years, Maidstone Film Studios hosted a lunch party where the county council, landowners, scouts, Creative England and the media got together. We raised a glass to a film office that champions Kent so brilliantly. I’m grateful for their support, guidance, and friendship over the years, and I can’t wait to see what the next twenty years bring.
