Spotlight: Timber Mill Grange

Timber Mill Grange in Berkshire features a four-storey 18th-century water mill, with the river flowing through the building and original machinery still in place, creating a dramatic and atmospheric setting for filming and photoshoots. Alongside it, the Georgian main house offers elegant interiors, formal lawns, and river views, providing a refined contrast within the same location. Surrounding gardens, riverbanks, woodland, and open fields provide multiple, varied backdrops on one site.

Historic variety

Our locations offer more than just historic houses; there’s a rich variety of traditional buildings across the centuries. From the charming boathouse at Pippin Hall to the 18th-century timber-framed threshing barn at Woodpecker Farm and the atmospheric derelict farmyard at Bridgeway Farm, these sites provide diverse backdrops steeped in history. Granaries, stables and barns give productions the flexibility to capture interiors and exteriors with authentic period character, far beyond the main house.

Spotlight: Topsy Farm Estate

Topsy Farm Estate’s 18th-century heritage is centred on its grand Grade I-listed neo-classical manor house, built in 1796, with opulent interiors, a sweeping staircase, and period character, set within formal lawns and walled gardens also from the 18th-century.

The estate also includes historic farm buildings, stables, a separate tithe barn, and several 18th- and 19th-century cottages in the village and across the estate, offering a range of authentic interiors and exteriors.
