We have a collection of six locations within 30 miles of Bristol, offering a practical mix of countryside, traditional farmyards, historic barns, isolated farmhouses and cottages, all within easy reach of the city.

Bristol is the largest city in the South West and a growing hub for film and TV production, with established studios, experienced crews and strong transport links. Being close to the city allows productions to benefit from its infrastructure while still accessing authentic rural backdrops that feel ‘in the middle of nowhere’.

Our Cotswolds locations showcase the South West’s unmistakable character, with traditional stone farmhouses, manor houses and working farmyards set within rolling countryside. Built from warm Cotswold stone, these properties offer timeless rural backdrops that feel authentic and grounded.

At Allsorts Farm, you’ll find not only working countryside but also a rural hotel and pub, adding hospitality settings to the mix. Twofold Farm offers two contrasting architectural faces, giving productions very different looks within one location.

At Pitt Rivers Estate, the grounds include Japanese and Indian-inspired structures, bringing unexpected architectural detail to a traditional rural landscape. There’s also a golf club setting, ideal for leisure or lifestyle shoots. Emerald Place stands out for its quirky props and colourful interiors, perfect for bold, character-led shoots, while Sentinel Manor Farm offers a cabin in the woods, ideal for secluded, atmospheric scenes.

The South West offers a wide range of water backdrops, from dramatic cliffs and estuaries to peaceful lakes and ponds. Whether you’re looking for open coastal views, tidal river settings or wild lakes, there are options to suit different moods and scales of production.

Many of our locations also feature boathouses, jetties and waterside access, allowing for practical filming on or beside the water. From wild, natural shorelines to managed estate lakes, these settings provide a strong visual impact while remaining accessible for film, TV and photography.

We have two standout equestrian locations in the South West, offering a mix of practical facilities and scenic backdrops.

Exmoor Farm is a fully equipped equestrian centre, featuring an internal American-style barn with 12 Monarch stables, a modern tack room, and a large indoor arena, ideal for shoots requiring functional riding spaces or period-style stables.

Gallop Farm offers two contrasting sides: one features a state-of-the-art equestrian facility with high-end stables, modern buildings, gallops, and versatile areas that can double as a racecourse like Ascot. The other side showcases the natural beauty of the Cotswolds, with rolling heathland, open farmland, and a secluded, weathered Cotswold stone barn, perfect for rustic or period filming.
