Georgian Locations

For Filming and Photoshoots

The Georgian period (1714–1830s) brought symmetry, proportion, and elegance to English architecture, both in grand country houses and more modest rural estates. Our Georgian locations feature manor houses, farmhouses, and estate buildings with balanced façades, high ceilings, sash windows, and formal gardens, offering authentic period character and versatile backdrops for interiors and exteriors for filming and photoshoots.

Spotlight: Mistletoe Farm

Mistletoe Farm is a Georgian farmstead, ready for film, TV, and photography productions. The main farmhouse sits within a traditional courtyard of red-brick farm buildings, including an original threshing barn and a square kiln oast.  The property spans nearly 200 acres of cider orchards, arable fields, wildflower meadows, pasture, and small woodland, combining historic charm with working farm versatility. Interiors retain original features, from an untouched brick-arched cellar to kitchen meat hooks and original floors, while gardens, vegetable patches, and traditional orchard calf sheds add authentic period and rural detail, making Mistletoe Farm a fully self-contained, varied location.

Empty & Untouched Georgian Houses

For productions seeking spooky atmosphere, abandonment, and authenticity, we offer two empty estates from the Georgian period.

Dormouse Farm is an untouched early 18th-century Georgian farmhouse set within an old, derelict farmyard, surrounded by 80 acres of overgrown land. With a collapsed walled garden, ancient trees, abandoned stone buildings, and far-reaching Cotswold views, it offers a quiet, haunting sense of a once-grand rural estate.

Ladylands Estate leans further into decay, featuring an abandoned manor house and farmyard in varying states of disrepair. Peeling wallpaper, crumbling walls, collapsed ceilings, derelict outbuildings, and overgrown gardens create an eerie visual narrative. As a work-in-progress estate, it allows straightforward takeovers and provides a wide range of evocative interiors and exteriors within one self-contained location.

Manors & Mansions

Our Georgian manors, country houses, and mansions bring a sense of scale and history, with elegant proportions, grand rooms, and formal gardens. They offer authentic architecture and flexible interiors, making them shoot-ready settings for film, TV, and photography.

Eerie Georgian Mill

The Georgian water mill at Timber Mill Grange is a striking 18th-century structure, defined by its scale, age, and industrial character. The river runs directly through the building, and much of the original timber machinery remains in place, creating an atmospheric, untouched setting. Raw interiors contrast with the surrounding landscape, making the mill a rare example of Georgian industrial heritage in the countryside.

Georgian Locations with Layered History

While Georgian elements are the main focus, some of our locations reveal how buildings evolved over time, blending Georgian architecture with other styles. Domesday Manor Farm offers a Georgian façade paired with Tudor back and sides, offering contrasting interiors and exteriors within one house. Limewater Farm centres on a Georgian farmhouse, later adapted with Victorian details, alongside a neighbouring oast house available to shoot inside and out.

Further examples include Trinity Farm, originally a medieval hall house with a Georgian addition, and Greystone Farm, where a Georgian frontage sits within a much older castle structure, layered with Rococo interiors. These locations are Georgian in look and feel, but also offer added flexibility for productions, with visible layers of history that allow filming of different periods within a single, practical location.
